There are two POLYCs. The trade edition is for you: research, policy, the lab sheet, the experiment’s report card, what people are choosing now, and the room pieces, with nothing silly in it, so you can hand it to a supplier or a connection without a second thought. Coffeeshop, headshop, growshop, hemp or CBD shop, pharmacy or club: if adults come to your counter with questions, this is for you. The retail edition is for your customer: the same information, plus the culture, the holiday pieces, the stoner-scope and the classifieds. We don’t sell it to the public; a reader gets it from a shop counter, or orders the custom copy with their own pages in it here. Shops order both editions from us.
Copies for your shop
A4, perfect bound, full colour, printed on heavy stock. Order any number of either edition, from a single copy up. Shops give a business name and a registration number when they order. Every wholesale buyer pays VAT and reclaims it in the usual way.
What you pay. Every full set of ten, mixed between the two editions however you like, is at the trade price: sixty percent of suggested retail. The suggested retail is €32.67 for the trade edition and €38.16 for the retail edition, so in a set of ten a trade copy is €19.60 and a retail copy €22.90 to you. Copies that don’t make up a full set of ten are at suggested retail. VAT and shipping on top. The suggested retail is only that: you set your own price on both, and whatever you charge above what you paid is yours.
The trade edition stays behind the counter or goes to your suppliers. It isn’t sold to the public and there is no checkout for it anywhere.
The retail edition, plain, is the same magazine your customer can order here with their own pages, minus those pages. It sits on the counter and sells like any magazine.
The custom copy, sold from your counter
A retail copy with four pages that belong to the buyer is not stocked; it’s made to order. A sample copy with those four pages left open, marked “this could be you”, lives on your counter or display stand next to the plain ones.
How a shop sells it. A customer who wants one orders at polyc.nl, or you take their name at the counter and we do the rest. We collect the photographs, write the pages, send a proof, print and post.
40 · 40 · 20. Every custom copy ordered through your shop is split on retail: 40 to the shop, 40 to the artist doing the work, 20 to Tinge World. Nothing to buy in, nothing to return. The customer pays us; your share follows.
Get listed. It costs nothing.
Every January issue is the Directory Issue: the businesses that serve cannabis retail in Europe, listed so that a shop owner can find a packaging supplier, a testing laboratory, a till system or an accountant without asking three people first. The same directory lives on this site all year. A listing is your business name, the countries you cover, what you do in one line, and one way to reach you. It is free, it is not an advertisement, and it cannot be bought, upgraded or moved up the page.
Deadline for the January issue: 15 December 2026. Who belongs in it, and who doesn’t, is on the directory page.
Advertising
If you supply this trade and cannot advertise to consumers, the trade edition’s pages are open to you, and the retail edition takes a small number of placements at a higher rate. Rates are not published; the rate card comes by email. How advertising in POLYC works.
